Now in its third year the Liquid Force BOARDSTOCK event will take place this year at Cables Wake Park Penrith on January 27, 28 & 29.
The event will be the culmination of a series of events that will draw the entire wakeboarding industry together in the one place at the one time. Riders of all styles will be present, whether they are boat, cable, winch or wakeskaters. All ages all ability levels are catered for as riders from all over the industry get together for a weekend of fun and competition.

An Overview – The Week Leading into Boardstock
24 January – Grom Stock
GROMSTOCK will start the ball rolling on January 24. Australia’s top groms will assemble at Black Diamond where they will be coached in boat and rail technique from Australian and overseas pro riders. Gromstock incorporates all the Boardstock contest events as well as the Australian Open Boat competition on Thurs 26 January.
26 January – Australian Open Boat Comp
The Australian Open Boat competition that will take place on Australia Day (Thursday January 26th) at Windsor Stadium.
27 January – Wakelife Team Cup & DEFY Premiere
Friday evening January 27 will see the Wakelife Team Rider Cup come to Cables where all the wakeboard companies will compete against each other in a team style format to earn the title of the leading wakeboard brand. Friday evening also look out for the premiere of Danny Harf new wakeboarding movie, DEFY, being shown on the massive floating screen.
28 January – Riders Choice Awards
A highlight of the weekend will take place on Saturday evening at Cables Wake Park with the Riders Choice Industry Awards. Here the Australian wakeboard industry will crowns its leading riders and industry personnel.
28 & 29 January – The Boardstock Events
Liquid Force Rails & Kickers
The main event. Rails only – a division for all ages and for everyone from beginner to pro.
Jet Pilot King of Kicker
Go big and impress the crowd and the judges as you boot off the kicker! Heaps of divisions for all.
Indy Two Tower Challenge
On the GoRide or System 2.0 – get tech on the rail, flats and kicker. Heaps of divisions for all.
Double Up Flatwater Freaks
Throw down your best and biggest flatwater tricks – make each trick count! One division – open to all.

About the Event
BOARDSTOCK will be a HUGE week of wakeboarding where the attention of both the Australian and overseas industry will be concentrated in one place. No other event on the Australian calendar will even comes close to attracting the same type of interest or the diversity of riders as Boardstock and these associated events will. Riders of all styles will be present, whether they are boat, cable, winch or wakeskaters. All ages all ability levels are catered for as riders from all over the industry get together for a weekend of fun and competition.

Australia’s top pro riders will all be there as well as many from overseas. With prizemoney for the pro’s now at $25,000 many others will join King of Cable Tom Fooshee in coming to the event to compete for the “I Ride Sideways Ultimate Rider” award. Other confirmed international stars include Danny Harf, Erik Ruck, Daniel Grant, together with skaters Aaron Reed and Danny Hampson. Another HUGE list of riders have expressed interest and we expect to see many more confirm in the coming weeks.
All divisions will receive prizes and awards, there will be give-aways going on all weekend. Boardstock will receive extensive coverage before, during and after the events through established media, internet and the worldwide social media network. All events will be professionally filmed and edited for distribution around the globe.
